Marine Rescue Exercise Set for June 5

The public is notified that Marine first responders from across the Virgin Islands will collaborate on a rescue simulation exercise in Road Harbour on Thursday, June 5.

The scenario is being coordinated by the Department of Disaster Management as part of its annual training and exercise calendar.

Investigation Following Marine Accident on May 25

The Marine Safety Investigation and Reporting Authority (MSIRA), in the Premier’s Office, confirms that a single boating accident occurred on Sunday, 25th May, 2025, in Leverick Bay Marina, Virgin Gorda.  The single-vessel incident happened when a centre console powerboat, Anadanto, capsized, injuring all six individuals onboard the vessel.
