Persons, as well as agencies, who were unable to complete the COVID-19 Stimulus Feedback Form in 2021, are asked to do so by April 14, 2022.  

A pleasant good afternoon to everyone.  I bring greetings to everyone here in the Virgin Islands, in the region and the world.  It is safe to say that the people and the economy of the Virgin Islands have endured a series of challenges within recent years.

The public is notified that 500 pediatric doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines have arrived to the Territory and is now available.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is alerting the public that a shipment of 500 pediatric doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine has arrived to the Territory and is now available for the 5 to 11 age group.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is reporting three additional COVID-19 related deaths, which brings the number of deaths in the Territory to 61.

The public is reminded to take every precaution to remain safe as COVID-19 is still present in the Virgin Islands, as in the rest of the world.   

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is notifying the public that the last batch of AstraZeneca vaccine expired on January 31. 

The Ministry of Health and Social Development has confirmed that two more persons have died as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths in the Virgin Islands to 51.

The BVI Health Services Authority is using local data to drive its new vaccination campaign. This campaign was launched on 27 January; and features statistics collated from the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital’s Specialty Care, and Intensive Care Units.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development has confirmed that seven more COVID related deaths were recorded during the month of January, bringing the total number of deaths in the Virgin Islands to 49.
