Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has announced Cabinet’s decision to implement a new curfew order after nine (9) new positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in the British Virgin Islands.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has confirmed that there are nine new positive cases of COVID-19 in the British Virgin Islands bringing the total active cases to 12 and the total reported cases to 21.

Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. As reported to you on Wednesday evening, a member of our community tested positive for COVID-19 following admission to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital on 17^th August 2020, and remains hospitalised.
