Twenty Virgin Islands residents are the newest registered British Citizens after they received certificates and recited the Affirmation of Allegiance and Pledge of Loyalty during a ceremony at Government House Thursday morning.

Twenty-seven persons are now the newest group of British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) of the Virgin Islands after taking the oath to complete the process during a naturalisation ceremony.
