Food vendors participating in the Emancipation Festival Celebrations in August are being urged to attend the last Food Handlers Session on July 25.

Virgin Gorda residents are being advised that the Food Handlers Clinic slated for July 25 has been re-scheduled to July 30.

Vendors selling food in the vicinity of Road Town and other public areas throughout the Virgin Islands are reminded to obtain Food Handlers Certification.

Stakeholders from the private and public sectors have completed a three day workshop to support the implementation of the National Information Systems for Health (IS4H) Policy.

Food workers in the Territory are being advised to discontinue using deodorizers to clean food service areas.

New and renewing food handlers on Tortola, Anegada and Virgin Gorda are notified that the following clinics will be held in the month of July beginning at 8:30 a.m. 

The Territory will for the first time observe World Zoonoses Day on July 6.

The success of the ‘Return to Happiness Programme’ designed to assist children ages 5 to 12 with psychosocial problems due to traumatic events, will be celebrated on Saturday, June 23.

Men and boys across the Territory are encouraged to get screened for the Men’s Health Screenings on Friday, June 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Architects, Builders, Engineers, Draftsmen and Plumbers are invited to register for an upcoming Onsite Sewerage (septic tank and soak away) workshop.
