On Monday, February 19, and Wednesday, February 21, the Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer, along with Ministry Officials, addressed the concerns of residents in the Fifth District.

Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer says the Public Works Department has mobilised its Emergency Response Team and is inspecting ghuts and other waterways in a proactive approach to the impending weather later today.
The Public Works Department in its commitment to road safety across the Territory has installed solar radar school zone signs at the Willard Wheatley Primary and the Ivan Dawson Primary Schools.
The public is advised that the portion of Main Street Road in the vicinity of the House of Assembly Building to the Sunday Morning Well will be temporarily closed on Monday, January 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The public is notified that rehabilitation works will resume on Wednesday, January 10 in the vicinity of the East End Recreational Park and are projected to last for a period of six (6) weeks.
The public is notified that a portion of Long Look Road in the vicinity of the Stickit will be closed between the hours of 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. on Monday 1st January 2024.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to proceed with caution during the upcoming weeks in the vicinity of Warner Estate Road in Purcell Estate on Tortola.
