Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has paid tribute to former Premier of Nevis His Excellency Ambassador Vance W. Amory who passed away on 2^nd April 2022 at the age of 72 in the United Kingdom.

Today I was saddened to learn of the passing of The Right Honourable Sir James Fitz-Allen Mitchell, KCMG, PC, former Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at the grand age of 90. Over the course of his long and distinguished political career, Sir James made tremendous contributions to achieving the political independence, economic stability and growth and development of his beloved country of birth.

Supervisor of Elections, Ms. Scherrie Griffin represented the British Islands and Mediterranean Region as a short-term observer during an Election Expert Mission for the St Helena General Election held on October 13.
