A cornerstone plaque on the Terminal Building of the Tortola Pier Park was unveiled last evening, signaling the official opening of the park.

Let me add my personal welcome to all of you, to the Official Grand Opening of the new Tortola Pier Park, here on Wickham's Cay 1, in The Capital City of Road Town!

Good afternoon to all of you here in this beautiful park and to those who are listening at home.

Premier and Minister for Tourism, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE is confident that the tourism sector of the British Virgin Islands is on the move again, as the Territory continues on the path to economic progress through Shared Sustainable Growth.

A documentary highlighting the development of the Cruiser Pier Expansion Project will be aired on Channel 55, Jahphix Television (JTV) on the following dates and time. 

A multi-agency select committee has been set up to assist employees of Rosewood Little Dix Bay following the hotel’s pending renovations and interim closure on May 1.

Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Mark Vanterpool is inviting all residents to the official grand opening of the Tortola Pier Park slated for Tuesday, February 16.
