The Governor’s Office is delighted to announce that it is now accepting applications for the Future Fund, which is designed support projects in the Virgin Islands that promote youth empowerment and good governance.
Enis Adams Primary School was the last of five primary schools in the Territory that were earmarked to receive a new playground facility in year one of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of the Virgin Islands and Unite BVI.
Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie de Castro, representatives from the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, faculty and staff of the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre and family and friends are featured as they celebrated with the students on June 18.
Parents wishing to have their children join them in the Virgin Islands during the months of June to August from nationalities requiring visas are advised that they must apply to the Department of Immigration to participate in the Student Vacation Visa Waiver Programme.
