The public is advised that the Magistracy on Virgin Gorda will close at 12 Noon today, 27th June, 2024 to facilitate an urgent meeting.

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on Virgin Gorda has temporarily suspended its services to facilitate necessary maintenance work on the building.  Updates will be provided on the resumption of normal operations.

The public is advised that the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pockwood Pond will be providing limited services on, Thursday, June 27.

The DMV will only be offering the written test, driver’s licenses, cone tests and road tests to those with appointments.  All other regular DMV services will be unavailable. We appreciate the public's understanding and patience during this temporary disruption.

 Any inconvenience this may cause our valued customers is regretted.

The public and motorist are advised that a portion of Long Look Road in the vicinity of the Long Look Methodist Church to the Stickit will be temporarily closed on Sunday, June 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Food Handlers are notified that they are to collect their food handler cards within two weeks after completing and passing the food safety session and accompanying quiz.

The Environmental Health Division will be hosting an in person ‘Food Handlers’ training session on Thursday June 27 at 4:45 p.m. at the lecture room of the L Shape building of the Elmore Stoutt High school.

The public is notified that a portion of North Road, Virgin Gorda in the vicinity of the entrance to Lee Road will be temporarily interrupted on Sunday, June 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. to facilitate an event.

The public is being notified that the Town and Country Planning Department will be hosting a community meeting for the residents of Sea Cows Bay at the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre on Thursday, July 4 at 7:00 p.m.

The public is advised that the Civil Registry and Passport Office will be operating with amended hours on Friday, June 28 to facilitate a staff learning and development activity.
