There were smiles of anticipation and excitement as the Premier’s Office, in collaboration with the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) delivered Christmas gifts to a number of the Territory’s children during the annual Holiday Gift Project party on Thursday December 4. Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr. the Honourable Kedrick Pickering delivered remarks on behalf of Premier and Minister of Tourism, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith OBE. In his remarks, Honourable Pickering expressed gratitude to the FCCA for partnering with the Virgin Islands and helping to usher in the Christmas spirit for those who are less fortunate in the community.  Santa and his team of elves led by Group Services Coordinator Luis Romero from the Norwegian Pearl cruise line, distributed toys in all shapes and sizes to delighted boys and girls from schools around the Territory.
