The Environmental Health Division is alerting the public that fogging will take place in East End, in the vicinity of Fat Hog’s Bay beginning Thursday, September 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. nightly until the entire locality is fogged. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, should leave the areas being fogged for at least an hour.

Residents are reminded that fogging provides temporary relief from mosquitoes. Householders and property owners are urged to be vigilant and to conduct weekly inspections around their homes and businesses to reduce mosquito breeding sites.   For further information on how to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito, telephone the Vector Control Unit of the Environmental Health Division at 468-5110.
