The Environmental Health Division is notifying residents in East End/Long Look area of Tortola that fogging operations will be conducted on November 30, 2015, in an ongoing effort to protect the community from Dengue Fever and Chikungunya.

Fogging will begin at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the surrounding areas of Shepherd Hill, Parham Town, Major Bay, Long Swamp, Fat Hogs Bay, Old Plantation, Nottingham Estate, Little Dix, Greenland, Lambert Estate and Balsam’s Ghut.

Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, are advised to vacate fogged areas for at least one hour. In the event of inclement weather, such as rain and high winds, or delays, no fogging will be performed. Fogging will then resume on the next available day until all areas are completed.
