The public is notified that the Environmental Health Division’s Vector Teams will begin fogging operations to address the increase of mosquito breeding and mosquito borne diseases in the following communities.

  • East End, Greenland on Tuesday, October 6
  • Purcell Estate on Wednesday, October 7
  • Long Bush, Lower Estate on Thursday, October 8
  • Sea Cows Bay on Friday, October 9

Fogging will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, are advised to vacate fogged areas for at least one hour. In the event of inclement weather, such as rain and high winds, or delays, no fogging will be performed. Fogging will then resume on the next available day until all areas are completed.
