The Environmental Health Division’s Vector Control Unit will be carrying out fogging on Tortola according to the following schedule:

Monday, October 3

• Josiah’s Bay, Lambert Estate, Balsum Ghut, Greenland, Parham Town and surrounding areas, Paraquita Bay, Hodge’s Creek and Long Look Estate and surrounding areas

Tuesday, October 4

• Wickham’s Cay I and II, Road Town, Long Bush, Lower Estate and surrounding areas, Huntum’s Ghut, Horsepath and Treasure Isle and surrounding areas.

Wednesday, October 5

• Pasea Estate, Johnson’s Ghut, Purcell Estate, Free Bottom, Fort Hill and surrounding areas, Beef Islands, Thomas Land, Chapel Hill to Long Swamp and surrounding areas

Thursday, October 6

• Baugher’s Bay, Fish Bay to Brandywine Bay and surrounding areas, Slaney, Macnamara and surrounding areas

Friday, October 7

• Nanny Cay to Palestina and surrounding areas and Duff’s Bottom to Sea Cow’s Bay and surrounding areas

Fogging will be carried out between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics are advised to vacate fogged areas for at least an hour.  For more information, contact the Environmental Health Division at 468-5110.
