Participants are featured at an information session hosted by the Department of Labour and Workforce Development in collaboration with the BVI–Asia Abroad Scholarship Programme. The session held on May 12 welcomed 20 Virgin Islanders and Belongers, who heard firsthand about educational prospects offered through the programme. The BVI–Asia Abroad Scholarship Programme currently partners with six institutions across Asia, offering mostly free education. Ten Virgin Islanders are enrolled to date. Approximately 30 scholarships are awarded annually, opening doors for more individuals to pursue higher education abroad.
