The public is reminded that all premises, not including hotels and clubs, in which intoxicating liquor is sold, exposed or kept for sale by retail shall be closed on Good Friday, observed on Friday, April 19.

According to the Liquor Licences Ordinance Cap. 106 of the Revised Edition 1991 of the Laws of the Virgin Islands, Section 42 (1), persons failing to comply shall be liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) and for a subsequent offense two hundred dollars ($200.00); in accordance with the ordinance, Section 42 (2).

All persons and businesses are asked to be guided accordingly.
