The public is notified that Long Swamp Road in the vicinity of the Police Station at East End, Tortola will be closed for road works from Monday June 9.

• Phase 1 installation of four (4) sewer manholes and related gravity and pumping mains, connecting to the Long Swamp pump station near the East End Police Station from the Blackburn Highway between Little Dix Road (East End Police Station) and Narrows Road (Fine Foods junction)

Traffic to and from Road Town via the coastal road will be disrupted. Motorists will be diverted through Long Look Estate between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

• Phase 2 involves extending gravity mains from an existing manhole to a new one along the Blackburn Highway, connecting to the Long Swamp pump station  along Little Dix Road at its intersection with the Blackburn Highway, near the East End Police Station.

Traffic to and from Road Town via Ridge Road will be affected.

Motorists will be diverted through Greenland or Long Look Estate between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
