Release Date:

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Mrs. Carolyn Stoutt Igwe, is strongly encouraging parents to complete the Remote Learning Assessment Survey which was previously circulated.

Mrs. Stoutt Igwe said, “The survey is instrumental to the development of the Education Continuity Plan. Therefore, it is important that it is completed by parents as a matter of urgency.”

The information gathered will give the ministry a better sense of remote learning access for parents and teachers in preparation for the new school term. Parents who are unable to complete the survey during the curfew due to lack of internet access will be able to do so at respective schools once the curfew has been lifted. The schedule will be published later in this week.

Parents who have internet access and have not yet completed the survey can do so by clicking on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/bvihomeschool

The Ministry of Education will engage educators in further planning and training for online teaching and learning as part of its continuity plan.
