Officers from the Royal Virgin Police Force, Her Majesty’s Prison and the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services are featured as they prepare for the Queen’s Birthday celebrations on Saturday, June 9.

As a part of this year’s celebrations 22 officers from the police force will receive medals in honour of 18, 25, and 30 years of service! 

One officer from Her Majesty’s Prison will receive the Long Service and Good Conduct medal for 25 years of meritorious service. 

The official parade of paramilitary organisations, uniformed bodies, youth organisations, schools and service clubs will leave the Althea Scatliffe Primary School grounds at 3:30 p.m. The parade will proceed along Station Avenue, pass the tamarind tree and on to the A. O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.  The official ceremony will commence at 4:30 p.m.
