Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer is urging residents and the motoring public to traverse with caution as we are in the second day of continuous rain in the Territory.

Honourable Rymer said, “I would like to advise the public to be cautious and very careful traversing the roads due to the inclement weather. The earth is saturated, and that may mean falling rocks, flooding, and slippery roads. Motorists should exercise extreme caution as some areas may not be easy to traverse.”

“The Public Works Department has been activated as a precaution to clear roadways. Safety is the priority, so please, STOP, LOOK and LISTEN, for Safe Driving Saves Lives,” said the Minister for Transportation.

Residents may telephone 468-9368 to report falling boulders that may have blocked roadways.
