Motorists are advised that due to the reinstatement of the road surface of Little Dix Hill there will be no through traffic from 7:00 a.m. Friday March 12 until Tuesday March 16.  The road will reopen from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 16.  Motorists who traverse this area are asked to use the Blackburn Highway for their commute to and from East End during this 4-day period.  Other alternate routes include:

  1. Traffic descending from Hope Hill will be redirected to the Nottingham Estate road following the notices placed at both the Hope Hill and Nottingham Estate road junction.
  2. Traffic from Long Look heading to the ridge road will also be directed through to Nottingham Estate road to Hope Hill.

The Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities and the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding as road rehabilitation works take place throughout the Territory.  Persons are asked to stay tuned to media outlets and social media, in particular the Government’s and RDA’s Facebook and Instagram pages and websites for the latest traffic advisories.
