As we are in the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season and continue to observe and experience tropical wave activity, members of the public are encouraged to store drinking water and water for sanitation.

It is recommended that you store approximately three (3) gallons of water per person per day for at least three (3) days.

Water must be stored in covered buckets, bottles and other containers.

This is important as weather systems may affect water supply.

The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) and the Water and Sewerage Department is encouraging all persons to observe these recommendations and to continue to monitor DDM’s website at bviddm.com, Facebook page @BVIDDM and local radio and television stations.
