Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has said that the opening of the Road Town Market Square will be instrumental for the Territory’s economic growth and development.

Madam Speaker, this week – on 7 February, to be more specific - we recognised the first anniversary of the City of Road Town Park and Ride Shuttle Service, and I am pleased to report to this Honourable House that this service which provides essential transportation around the City, has been a resounding success.
The new Road Town Market Square project considered to be a signature project of the Government of the Virgin Islands is slated to be officially opened on February 13.

The public is notified that the entrance to the Festival Grounds in the vicinity of the SAKAL Building will be closed for four weeks commencing Saturday, March 5 at 7:00 a.m.in order to facilitate work in the area.
Persons with containers, equipment and materials situated next to the Queen Elizabeth Park across from the Governor’s House are being advised to have them removed by 12:00 noon Friday, December 31.
This notice is to be treated with the highest priority as failure to meet deadline will result in their removal at cost to the owners.
