The Office of the City Manager and Wickham's Cay Development Authority is notifying the public that the Road Town Festival Grounds will be closed to the general public for parking from Monday, 10 July to Thursday, 31 August.

The Office of the City Manager and Wickham's Cay Development Authority is encouraging the public to use the alternative parking and transportation options during the upcoming Emancipation Festival.

The public is notified that the community meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday 30^th May at the Road Town Market Square at 5:30pm has been postponed until further notice.

Plans for the city of Road Town will be presented to the public at a Community Meeting on Tuesday, 30^th May 2023, at the Road Town Market Square at 5:30 p.m.

The newly dedicated Market Square project is said to be a signature project of the Government of the Virgin Islands to foster entrepreneurship and economic growth.

Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has said that the opening of the Road Town Market Square will be instrumental for the Territory’s economic growth and development.

Madam Speaker, this week – on 7 February, to be more specific - we recognised the first anniversary of the City of Road Town Park and Ride Shuttle Service, and I am pleased to report to this Honourable House that this service which provides essential transportation around the City, has been a resounding success.

 The new Road Town Market Square project considered to be a signature project of the Government of the Virgin Islands is slated to be officially opened on February 13.

The public is notified that the entrance to the Festival Grounds in the vicinity of the SAKAL Building will be closed for four weeks commencing Saturday, March 5 at 7:00 a.m.in order to facilitate work in the area.
