The Ministry of Education and Culture and Health and Social Development is inviting the public to tune in to television to learn more about the Healthy Lifestyle School Intervention Programme being implemented in public schools across the Territory.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development is notifying the public that the dates for the upcoming chronic disease self-management training workshop previously scheduled from October 6 to 9 have been changed to October 27 to 30.
Parents of children in grades two and three at the Territory’s public schools are invited to a series of meetings as part of efforts to educate key stakeholders on the Healthy Lifestyle School Intervention Programme.

A team of persons from the Ministries of Education and Culture and Health and Social Development will be conducting baseline data collection in primary schools from September 14 as Government prepares to launch the Healthy Lifestyle School Intervention programme.
A commitment to improve procurement and supply chain management was made by members of the public and private sectors following the completion of a two day workshop.

Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton has stated that the National Health Insurance, through pooled contributions, is not only more cost effective and affordable for the wider population, but will have significant long-term social and economic benefits for the Virgin Islands.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development is notifying the public that a chronic disease self-management training workshop will be held October 6 to 9 at the H Lavity Stoutt Community College, Marine Centre building from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
