The public is notified that the General Post Office located in the Maduro Building in Road Town is temporarily closed today Tuesday, August 11.

New Deputy Premier of the Virgin Islands, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley said he is humbled on his appointment and is thankful for the confidence placed in him by Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie.

Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands Mr. David D. Archer, Jr., has been appointed as Deputy to Governor from August 10^th to 14th.   

Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley is the new Deputy Premier of the Virgin Islands for the duration of the Government’s term in office.

Mr. Wade N. Smith has been appointed as Commissioner of Customs in the Virgin Islands.  

Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie is informing the public that today, Friday, August  7, Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley will be officially sworn in as the new Deputy Premier of the Virgin Islands for the duration of the Government’s term in office. 

The public is hereby notified that the Cabinet Office, including the Gazette Unit, will be relocating from the Sebastian Building to the 3^rd floor of the Elliott Hodge Building on Flemming Street.

The fire Station in the East End/Long Look community is now functional.

The public is notified that due to impending weather, all primary care services at the hospital and community clinics in addition to visitation at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith hospital will be closed at 1:00 p.m. 

The Public Service will close at 1:00 p.m. today, July 29 as the Territory prepares to experience the effects of Tropical Cyclone Nine.
