Newly appointed Deputy Governor Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. is acting in the Office of Governor until Monday, April 2.

Deputy Governor, Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. officially visited Virgin Gorda on March 27, the first in a series of familiarisation tours to the Sister Islands.

Public officers numbering more than one thousand responded to the clarion call and turned out to witness the official launch of the much anticipated Public Service Transformation Initiative at Tortola Pier Park on March 26.

The public is notified that the full complement of staff at the Ministry of Finance has relocated to the Central Administration Complex on the 3^rd floor of the east wing.

The Office of the Deputy Governor will on Monday, March 26 at 9:00 a.m., collectively bring public officers together at the Tortola Pier Park, for a special event to celebrate their success for the work done post hurricanes Irma and Maria and officially launch the Public Service Transformation Initiative. 

It is going to be an atmosphere with a relaxed setting, filled with energy, enthusiasm and a renewed sense of direction for the Public Service.

The public is invited to tune in to local talk show programmes to hear Deputy Governor Mr. David Archer, Jr. speak on the Public Service Transformation Initiative.

Deputy Governor Mr. David Archer, Jr. accepted a brand new Color LaserJet PRO MFP printer from Mr. John I. Cline, Owner of Infinite Solutions at a brief-handover today, March 17. 

The Government of the Virgin Islands is aware of erroneous misinformation that is being circulated by some persons through different media regarding the Public Service. 

Residents of the Virgin Gorda community are advised that Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE will hold office hours on Tuesday, March 13 at the Virgin Gorda Administration Complex, Vanterpool Building.
