The Ministry of Communications and Works is notifying the residents of Lower Estate that road works on Sugar Mill Road will continue tomorrow, May 1.

 

Road Not Closed In Kingstown

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that the road from Sophie Bay to Kingstown is not closed.

Works are being carried out on the road and persons are asked to drive with caution and follow traffic signs.

For more information about the on-going road works visit bvi.gov.vg or stay abreast of your local community board online and on the radio.

The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

Parking Lot Closure Adjacent One Stop Mall

The Office of the City Manager is notifying the public and surrounding businesses that the parking lot adjacent to the One Stop Mall will be closed from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday April 30. The purpose of the closure is to accommodate a public meeting. The parking lot will reopen after the meeting.

Violators who refuse to adhere to the closure will be towed at their own expense.

The Office of the City Manager apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

Roads To Be Closed For Rehabilitation Works

Final Works On Parham Town Drainage

Drainage works at Parham Town under the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) contract is 100 percent complete. Additional works are continuing to support the existing drainage system in ensuring that it functions at maximum capacity.

Road Works In Palestina 95 Percent Complete

Road works in Palestina Estate/Pleasant Valley are 95 percent complete. Completed works per contract included raising the concrete bridge abutments and construction of a new bridge deck at a higher elevation. A new culvert was also constructed along the Palestina road and a section of the Drakes Highway back to the existing sea outfall near Nanny Cay.
