The Marine Safety Investigation and Reporting Authority (MSIRA), in the Premier’s Office, confirms that a single boating accident occurred on Sunday, 25th May, 2025, in Leverick Bay Marina, Virgin Gorda. The single-vessel incident happened when a centre console powerboat, Anadanto, capsized, injuring all six individuals onboard the vessel.
Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley recently led a delegation to a strategic trade mission to Sint Maarten, to engage in high-level dialogue to advance mutual interests in maritime, trade, agriculture, tourism, health services, and financial services.

The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change is seeking applications for five positions of Member of the Appeals Tribunal, as established under the Physical Planning Act, 2004.

Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley is away from the Territory attending the Amplify Summit 2025 Conference in Maimi, United States from May 21 to 25.
The 4th Commons and Overseas Territories Speakers’ Conference (COTSC) took place in London from May 13 to 16, 2025. The event was graciously hosted by the Speaker of the UK House of Commons, the Rt. Honourable Sir Lindsay Hoyle, MP. Delegates included Speakers and Clerks from various UK Overseas Territories such as Anguilla, Bermuda, the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, St Helena, and The Virgin Islands.
