Fisherman’s Day Activities Schedule For June 30

The public is invited to attend the annual Fisherman’s Day activities at Long Bay Beach, Beef Island, scheduled for Friday, June 30.

The annual fishing tournament starts at 4:00 a.m. From 10:00 a.m. onwards there will be several activities and events for all ages, including the judging of the fishing tournament, solider crab races and free health screening. Food vendors will be present and entertainment will be provided by local DJs and Showtime Band.
