Minister for Education and Culture, Honourable Myron V. Walwyn has highlighted the benefits of implementing the additional school year, or 12th Grade in the Territory’s public schools.

The Member for the Third District to ask the Honourable Minister for Education and Culture the following questions:

A total of 40 young persons have received awards and scholarships since the creation of the Virgin Islands Emerging Fellows (VIEF) grant in April 2012.

Parents and guardians of all public and private school students are informed that the Elmore Stoutt High School will be opening registrations for those students who did not complete the pre-registration process.

Parents, guardians and supporters of students attending the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre are invited to an Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 14 at 3:30 p.m.

Parents and guardians of Grade 11 students attending the Elmore Stoutt High School are invited to a Parent Teachers Association meeting on Tuesday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the main Courtyard.

The public is invited to the Isabella Morris Primary School (IMPS) Family Fun Night on Saturday, June 11 at the school grounds, starting at 6:00 p.m.
