The public is reminded that today, May 18 is the last day to register for the British Virgin Islands Reading Council’s Annual Adult Spelling Bee Competition.

Parents and guardians of the Territory’s public school students are advised that Mid-Term Break is on Friday, May 20.

The Early Childhood Education Unit, in collaboration with various early childhood learning centres are hosting a ‘Baby Show’ on Sunday, May 15 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex. 

Parents and guardians of Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) students are notified that Mid-Term Break is on Friday, May 20.

The British Virgin Islands Reading Council will be illustrating ways in which literacy can be fun when it hosts its annual Adult Spelling Bee Competition later this month.

The public is encouraged to visit the Government’s website at www.bvi.gov.vg to read the winning essays in the recently held “What Does Being British Mean to You”, essay competition.

Mr. Damien Williams of the B.V.I. Seventh-day Adventist School is the winner of the “What Does Being British Mean to You?” essay competition.
