Dear Governor,

     As you and the people of the Virgin Islands celebrate the auspicious occasion of Virgin Islands Day, my wife and I have great pleasure in conveying our warmest congratulations to your Premier, and to the people of the Virgin Islands. 

The Governor of the Virgin Islands, His Excellency Mr. Daniel Pruce, hosted His Majesty The King’s Birthday Party last night (Wednesday 11 June).The annual celebration to mark the Monarch’s birthday was held at Government House, Tortola and paid tribute to His Majesty King Charles III as the Head of State in the Virgin Islands.

The Office of the Deputy Governor has announced that the King’s Birthday Parade and Celebration in honour of His Majesty King Charles III, is set for Friday, June 13 at 9:00 a.m.

The public is notified that the Sovereign’s Birthday will be observed on Friday, 13^th June, 2025, as listed on the 2025 Official Holiday Calendar of the Virgin Islands and in accordance with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 199), as amended.

The public is notified that traffic flow will be interrupted on portions of the following roadways on Tuesday, May 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00.p.m. The interruptions are to facilitate the King’s Baton Relay celebration from the Sports Club to the Governor’s House:
