The Government of the Virgin Islands is reminding visitors to the Territory that effective September 1, an environmental and tourism levy of $10.00 will be collected on arrival at all ports of entry.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is reminding all mariners that effective August 1, home and foreign based charters will see an increase in cruising permit fees.

The Licencing Magistrate is reminding all persons desirous of selling intoxicating liquor during the upcoming Emancipation Festival that they are to apply for and obtain a temporary liquor licence to do so.
Government is moving proactively to initiate the changes necessary to facilitate more substance-based economic activity in the Territory as part of the BVI Forward campaign.
Vendors are required to seek permission and obtain a temporary trade license from the Office of the City Manager and the Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs to set up business or request a space in Road Town for the August Monday Grand Parade on August 1.
Residents of the Sister Islands are notified that an inspector is scheduled to visit Jost Van Dyke on Tuesday, June 7 and Anegada on Wednesday, June 8 between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
