The Public Health Unit is notifying the community that a positive COVID-19 case was in attendance at the Bregado Flax Educational Centre’s graduation ceremony today, June 29.

The Public Health Unit is actively looking for persons who may have come in contact with a COVID-19 positive case.

The public is advised that the Marine and Cruise Industry meeting scheduled for today Saturday, June 12 at Maria's by the Sea Conference Room for the purpose of discussing COVID-19 vaccines has been cancelled.

The public is invited to a Public Transportation Industry, Taxi and Livery, Marine Industry and Cruise Industry meeting at Maria's by the Sea Conference Room on Saturday, June 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m

The Government of the Virgin Islands continues to receive support from the United Kingdom in its COVID-19 vaccine campaign and will be hosting a visit from the UK Healthcare Ambassador to the Overseas Territories Professor Ian Cumming.

Residents of Virgin Gorda are invited to a public meeting on Wednesday, June 9 at the Old Yard Village Conference Room at 5:30 p.m.to discuss COVID-19 vaccines.

Officials at the Ministry of Health and Social Development are advising the public that the interval between COVID-19 vaccine doses is being shortened to 4 to 8 weeks.
