Officials at the Ministry of Health and Social Development are alerting residents of an increase in the level of gastroenteritis also known as gastro in the British Virgin Islands.

The HEOC [Health Emergency Operation Centre] presented an update on the COVID-19 situation, including vaccination coverage, along with various considerations for modifying the border entry requirements for travelers who have been fully vaccinated.

Officials from the Ministry of Health and Social Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Private Medical Practitioners to begin offering both doses of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine.
