covid-19 UPDATE – PHASED INTERNAL REOPENING

El Ministro de Salud y Desarrollo Social, el Honorable Carvin Malone, informó que el total de casos activos de COVID-19 en el Territorio se ha reducido a 28 desde su última actualización el 10 de septiembre.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has reported that 20 persons recovered from COVID-19 and that there is one new case of the virus in the British Virgin Islands.

COVID-19 UPDATE – ONE NEW CASE AND TWENTY NEW RECOVERIES

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone reports no new COVID-19 cases as 111 additional samples tested negative for the COVID-19 virus.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone announced Cabinet’s decision for the Social Monitoring Task Force to be established under the Ministry of Health and Social Development.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has called for a coordinated global voice to bring awareness to dementia during this month being observed as World Alzheimer’s Month.

A limited listing of approved businesses and establishments are allowed to operate under the Curfew Act, 2017, Imposition of a Curfew (No.28) Order, 2020 in the British Virgin Islands.

Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone announced Cabinet’s decision to implement new curfew order after reporting five (5) new positive COVID-19 cases in the British Virgin Islands.
