Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer is urging residents and the motoring public to traverse with caution as we are in the second day of continuous rain in the Territory.

The public is invited to attend the commissioning of the City of Road Town Park and Ride Shuttles, on Thursday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.

Residents on Jost Van Dyke and Anegada are notified that officers from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will resume visits to the sister islands for vehicle inspection and licensing.

The public is notified that the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Virgin Gorda is closed today, Thursday, August 5 because of technical difficulties. Regular office hours will resume on Friday, August 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Minister for Transportation, Work and Utilities, Honourable Kye Rymer continues to share his vision for first-class roads in the Territory with the signing of a contract to supply Asphaltic Concrete Works across six road project sites on Tortola.

The public is advised to limit traversing the roads as boulders have been cited on the roadways due to the inclement weather being experienced.

The Department of Motor Vehicles on Virgin Gorda will be closed to the public on Monday April 19 to facilitate its move to its new location on Crab Hill Road (in the vicinity of the Virgin Gorda Elderly Home and the Police Station).

Since the British Virgin Islands reopened for tourism on December 1, 2020, the Government of the Virgin Islands has paid the cost of Gold Seal certified ground and marine transportation for all arrivals,  to their Gold Seal approved accommodations on Day 0 as well as round trip transfers between their accommodations and the designated testing sites on Day 4.  

The public is notified that the parking lot adjacent Pusser’s on Waterfront Drive in Road Town will be open to the public on Monday, March 29.
