Residents and businesses on Tortola are notified that the public water service will be temporarily interrupted on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. daily to facilitate the upgrade and installation of new transformers.

The Tortola and Virgin Gorda branches of the Water and Sewerage Department will be temporarily closed on Friday, February 4 to facilitate system upgrades. 

As we live and work with COVID-19, the operations of the Public Service will continue. However, to better serve our clients safely, the Administration Unit at the Water and Sewerage Department, Tortola branch, will be temporarily closed from Thursday, January 20 to Monday, January 24, to ensure the health and safety of its officers and the clients it serves.

Residents and businesses along the Blackburn Highway from Jean Hill to Sophie Bay are notified that public water service will be temporarily interrupted today Wednesday, January 19 until 3:00 p.m. 

As we live and work with COVID-19, the operations of the Public Service will continue. However, to better serve our clients safely, the Water and Sewerage Department, Virgin Gorda branch, will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, 12 January to Thursday, 13 January to ensure that the health and safety of its officers and the clients it serves.

The public is notified that the Water and Sewerage Department on Virgin Gorda is closed from Wednesday, January 12. Updates will be forthcoming on the resumption of service.

The public is notified that the Water and Sewerage Department on Virgin Gorda is closed from today, Thursday, December 30. Service will resume on Tuesday, January 4 at 8:30 a.m.

Residents and businesses of Cane Garden Bay are notified that the water service is expected to resume at 3:00 p.m. today. Residents in the Ant Hill area (adjacent the Police Station) will continue to be affected as works continue.

Residents and businesses along Cane Garden Bay are notified that the public water service will be temporarily interrupted from today Monday, December 20 as a result of damages to the distribution pipeline.  

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie said that 32.73 percent of the development budget has been allocated to the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities as Government focusses on major construction projects to stimulate economic activity and create jobs during this COVID-19 period.
