The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour has received a €927,980 (approx. $933,189) grant from the European Union (EU) through Expertise France to improve the water quality testing capabilities in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).

The H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) has signed a Statement of Shared Interest agreement with the Stella and Charles Guttman Community College at the City University of New York to promote collaborative academic opportunities between the innovative institutions.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer, has approved new rates for the Transportation Industry within the Virgin Islands in an effort of aligning fares with the current cost of living and the cost of operating the service.

The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports is working diligently on updating the Virgin Islands National Sports Policy.
To achieve this objective, the department is appealing to the entire community to participate in a survey designed to provide essential data upon which to craft and update the Virgin Islands National Sports Policy.
